Immanuel Christian Fellowship was founded in 1991.

ICF is a church plant from Petra Christian Fellowship, New Holland, PA, a part of the Hopewell Network of Churches.

There were several families in the Lititz and Manheim region with a desire to plant a new church in their region. Ed and Naiomi Sensenig joined this group with Ed serving as the founding pastor.

The church began by meeting Sunday evenings in the gymnasium of Manheim Christian Day School and moved to morning meetings.

In late 1994 Ed Sensenig resigned as pastor and after a search, the church called current pastor, Paul Blank, to lead the church in the spring of 1995. Paul was installed in July of 1995 and he and his wife Marla continue to serve, along with the four children they have been blessed with since then. In November of 1995, just four months after Pastor Paul’s installation, the church purchased and moved to the current location at 1050 Mount Joy Road, just west of Manheim in the town of Sporting Hill.

Immanuel has gone through many transitions and changes since that time; some good and exciting, others difficult and painful, but God has been faithful through them all to form us and to bring about His purposes at ICF. By His grace and mercy ICF remains a light on the hill where God continues to build a community of faith, growing in His love with a calling to be a demonstration of His Kingdom to those around us.

ICF is blessed to have an ongoing source of support and accountability as a part of the Hopewell Network of Churches. However, both in the network and in our region of churches we sense our unique mission is to be a community of faith that builds and strengthens the family unit as we allow God to create a household of faith among us that becomes family to all who come through the doors.

We are excited to continue on this journey together and see the new doors and opportunities that God has on His heart for ICF.
